At 56, Charles lifts far more than when he started.

He still plays ice hockey two to three times a week, and he's trained with Riz for almost five years.

Cardio three or four times a week, and the weight still came on.

At 50 he couldn't train any harder. He fixed his nutrition first and lost 7 to 8kg, but he felt weak. A shoulder injury sent him to a physiotherapist, who moved him into strength work, and when he moved to Malaysia he got serious about it with Riz.

Two inches on his chest.

He's put on about 6 to 7kg with his body fat about the same, and he lifts a lot more than when he started. On the ice his shot is stronger, he wins more physical battles, and he's faster, even with less cardio. In almost five years of training with Riz, he hasn't been injured lifting once.

"I've been working out with Riz for 5 years. I've never had an injury."
